The Parish Council have received a number of complaints about damage to the grass verges along Lowfields Avenue, caused by parents parking on them when collecting children from Whinstone Primary School.
The Parish Council would ask that more consideration be given to where cars are parked.
Over recent years the Parish Council have provided a Christmas tree for Ingleby Barwick, which is sited at Ingleby Barwick Community Hall.
The tree is provided for the benefit of the Community and it was very disappointing this year the amount of vandalism caused to the tree and lights.
It is hoped that in future years the tree will be left alone so that residents can appreciate it.
Details of this year's competition will be published in Gossip in the near future.
The continued success of this event relies on the level of interest from enthusiastic Ingleby Barwick gardeners.
It is hoped that the residents of Ingleby Barwick will support this event once again and the Parish Council look forward to receiving your entries.
Clerk to the Parish Council.
